How a Goalie Scores an Own Goal
This video is from yesterday’s U-21 match between England and Romania. England goaltender Joe Hart dives to block a free kick, but the ball hits the crossbar behind him, bounces off his back, and goes into the goal. The result is the extremely rare goaltender own goal.
The silver lining for Hart is that he managed not to look as terrible as this goalie.

i am pretty sure those arent own goals, in my book at least. the first one the keeper was unlucky, the second one he was just stupid. the second keeper deserves 3 own goals for that bone headed play.

again. it is scored as an own goal. look at the boxscore. that’s just the way it is–like when an outfielder lets the ball land a foot behind him and it’s scored hit.
